Green Elephant Group proudly announces the commencement of Compressed Biogas (CBG) offtake from our Satara facility, marking a significant achievement under the CGD Synchronization Scheme spearheaded by GAIL (India) Limited.
This milestone highlights Green Elephant’s role in driving India’s clean energy transition and supporting the Government of India’s SATAT program to promote renewable fuels.
Powering Sustainable Mobility
The offtake marks the delivery of 7,500 kg of CBG per day in cascades to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). This supply is fueling 800–850 vehicles daily, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and advancing the shift towards clean and sustainable mobility.
