June 2018 – Green Elephant Group proudly announced the appointment of Mr. Sangram Singh as a Director of the company.

With his strong vision for sustainability and deep expertise in renewable energy, Mr. Singh brought a fresh perspective to Green Elephant’s leadership team. His appointment marked the beginning of a new growth phase for the company, with a sharper focus on compressed biogas (CBG), waste-to-energy solutions, and circular economy initiatives.

Speaking on the appointment, Mr. Singh emphasized his commitment to strengthening Green Elephant’s position as a pioneer in organic waste management and renewable gas production, while also scaling operations to meet India’s growing demand for sustainable energy solutions.

Green Elephant has successfully initiated a state-of-the art bio-composting project in Nanded, Maharashtra which will be commissioned in the year 2015.

REMONDIS, Germany, a worldwide leading waste-management company and Green Elephant Investment Partner, Germany have both acquired a 50 % share in the venture Orgatreatments Pvt. Ltd., Pune. Orgatreatments Pvt. Ltd. owns the factory site and all relevant assets of the state-of-the art bio-composting unit, located in Nanded, Maharashtra, India. The company’s business focus is the value added processing of citrus waste, supplied by Citrus Processing India Pvt. Ltd. (“CPI”), India’s largest producer of Frozen Concentrate Orange Juice (“FCOJ”). CPI is promoted by Black River Asset Management, PepsiCo, HDFC-Limited and a group of Swiss investors. Green Elephant is advisor to the parties and will accompany the project. The parties agreed to keep details of the investment confidential
