Lucknow, India – 1.09.25Green Elephant a leader in waste-to-energy solutions, has installed its innovative GreenBoxTM system at Adani Lucknow Airport, reinforcing the airport’s commitment to sustainable operations.

With a capacity to process 700 kg of food waste per day, the Green Box will:

  • Generate Renewable Electricity from biogas to support on-site energy needs.
  • Produce Dry Organic Compost for landscaping and agricultural applications.

By deploying this technology, Green Elephant is helping Adani Lucknow Airport move towards to zero-waste operations and set new benchmarks in green airport infrastructure.

Powering Sustainable Mobility

The offtake marks the delivery of 7,500 kg of CBG per day in cascades to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). This supply is fueling 800–850 vehicles daily, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and advancing the shift towards clean and sustainable mobility.
