Dipl.- Ing. Herbert F. Kroll – Chairman and Memeber of Advisory Board
Mr Kroll has spent the majority of his career in senior management positions in the Indian operations of European companies. From 1974 to 1995 he worked for Robert Bosch GmbH and from 1988 on he was Managing Director of Mico-Bosch (Pvt) Limited, the Bosch joint venture operation in India with 12,000 employees. Twice he was President of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai. From 1995 to 2000 he was joint Managing Director of Schlafhorst Engg, a company manufacturing and distributing machinery for the textile industry in India and until 1997 served as Deputy Chairman of Roland Berger Consultants in India.

Nawshir D. Khurody – Member of Advisory Board
After an MA (Economics Hons. ) degree from Trinity College, Cambridge, UK in 1958, Mr Khurody´s career - till his retirement in October 2011 - was within the Tata Group of Companies as an officer of the Tata Administrative Services. Over 4 decades he worked in the tea, engineering and pharmaceutical interests of the Group, ending as the Managing Director of Voltas Limited, a public company listed on the Indian stock exchange. Subsequently, he served on several Boards as an independent director and took up assignments on innovation, covering organisation development, strategic planning and human resource guidance. He has experience in the formulation and implementation of business plans, risk analysis and funding alternatives.

Aashish Dutt – Director
Mr. Aashish Dutt has an entrepreneurial background in waste management and renewable energy, co-founding a clean tech start-up, which introduced cutting edge green technologies into the Indian market. Prior to his venture, he was a strategy consultant at a leading Indo-European Environmental Advisory firm. Aashish holds a Masters Degree from the prestigious London School of Economics and an Bachelor Degree from Utrecht School of Economics, Netherlands. He is based in India and is Director of Green Elephant's Business Development and Marketing activities.

Dr. Christian Epp – Director
Dr. Christian Epp is the CEO of Clever Energy Invest GmbH & Co. KG, a Germany based renewable energy investment company involved in different sectors. He studied law at the University of Freiburg and has been working in the renewable energy sector since 2002. He was involved in biogas projects in Tanzania, Togo and Sri Lanka.

Hans Kättström – Director
Mr. Kättström is one of the leading experts to build and operate biogas up-grading and refuelling stations for biogas and natural gas, both for gas phase CBG/CNG and liquid phase LBG/LNG. Hans Kättström is internationally recognized as a pioneer for CBG (Compressed Biogas) production. He built the first biogas upgrading plant for CBG production in Sweden and has through the years played an important role in the continuous technology development up to where we stand today. His experience covers all commercial technologies and their optimized implementation.


Dr. Nicolaus zu Sayn-Wittgenstein – Director
Dr. zu Sayn-Wittgenstein has an entrepreneurial background in corporate finance and commodities. Prior to Co-founding Green Elephant he was consultant advising on mergers & acquisitions. Before he was Director of a company active timber industry. Dr. zu Sayn-Wittgenstein holds a doctoral degree in Economics from the Georg-August-University Göttingen, Germany and an upper second honours degree in business administration from the Catholic University in Eichstätt, Germany. Dr. zu Sayn-Wittgenstein is based in India and Director of Green Elephant´s operations as well director for Green Elephant´s consulting activities.

Dr. Felix-Michael Weber – Director
Dr. Weber is the founder and Managing Director of Elephant Equity GmbH a German-Indian Investment Company. He has extensive experience in Indo-German transactions and the commercialisation of new business in India and is co-founder of Green Elephant. Dr. Weber previously worked as Analyst for a leading financial advisory firm consulting on corporate finance. Dr. Weber holds a magna cum laude doctoral degree in Economics from the Centre of Corporate Governance and Finance at the University of Witten/Herdecke, Germany and a degree in business administration from the Catholic University in Eichstätt, Germany, Grand Ecole de Haute Etudes (EDHEC), France and Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
